CK Kreelex

The Kreelex was developed by Chuck Kraft in 1991. The original name for this fly was the Rolex. Chuck was advised by some of his clients who were lawyers to change the name to avoid any issues with the watch company. Chuck developed this fly to emulate and mimic the action and movement of a baitfish. This fly is known to be a “Panther Martin Spinner” for the fly rod angler. For the Kreelex to actually be a “Kreelex” it needs to be tied with very particular was using very specific materials. This fly has won numerous 1 fly and 2 Fly Tournaments around the world. The pattern produces in Fresh or Saltwater but is best known for being a magnet for Trout and Smallmouth Bass.
