About Us

Space Coast Flies started at the vise, developing and fishing our own patterns. From there, we built a team of talented fly tyers and never stopped searching for the best tyers and patterns we could find. Alongside our small-batch and custom flies, we hand-select the best, highest-quality production patterns available—flies we trust and fish ourselves.

What started at the vise has grown into a full fly shop, both online and on the Gulf Coast. In our original hometown of Gulf Shores, Alabama, we opened Community Fly Supply, our brick-and-mortar fly shop and a place to bring everything we’ve built online into a local fly fishing community.

We’re still a flies-first shop at heart, with a carefully selected lineup of rods, reels, tying materials, and gear built for time on the water. Saltwater is in our DNA, but if it swims and eats a fly, we’re probably into it.
